Q: What information do I need for registration?

A: For registration, you will need to provide your personal contact information, costume size and preference, t-shirt size, meal preference and payment of a non-refundable £75 deposit. Registration MUST be completed no later than Sunday 29 June 2020.

Q: How can I pay for my costume?

A: Addicted accepts cash payments, bank transfers and all major debit and credit cards online and directly to us. Cheques are not accepted for payment.

Q: Where can I view Addicted’s costumes?

A: Pictures of our costumes are all online, however, you can contact Junior on 079506672699 for a private viewing. Costumes may also be viewed via our online galleries.

Q: Can I design my own costume to play with ADDICTED?

A: Unfortunately, we do not allow masqueraders to design their own costumes.

Q: Can I order extra items with my costumes?

A: Yes the costumes come with different additional options such as Additional Bikini Shorts and Swimsuit.

Q: When do I need to pay for my costume?

A: Your non-refundable £75 deposit must be paid upon registration by our registration deadline date – Sunday 29 June 2020. The remaining balance must be paid no later than Saturday 5 August 2020.

Q: What does ADDICTED’s package include?

A: ADDICTED’s package includes an unlimited supply of non-alcoholic drinks, food, music, a private security team and of course your Addicted costume and Cocoyea t-shirt. Click on the Package link above for further information.

Q: When do I collect my costume?

A: All masqueraders will be provided with a collection date for their costume by email and this information will also be posted on our website. If you are unable to collect your costume on the collection date, you must contact us ASAP to make alternative arrangements.

Q: I am unable to collect my costume……can another person collect it on my behalf?

A: We strongly encourage all masqueraders to collect their own costume so that personal fittings can be carried out. However, if this is not possible, you can make arrangements for another person to collect your costume. You must inform us beforehand and ensure that this person walks with a copy of your confirmation email.

Q: I missed my collection date – What do I do?

A: You can collect your costume on any day after your designated collection date, however, priority is given to those collecting on that date.

Q: I’ve collected my costume but it does not fit?

A: Contact us immediately and we will put you in touch with our designer/producer, who will be able to assist with resizing your costume.

Q: What do I receive when I come to collect my costume?

A: You will receive your full costume and headpiece, your Addicted bag, information on meeting points and breakfast time on Carnival Monday, Cocoyea t-shirt and wristband.

Q: Will ADDICTED be on the road on Carnival Sunday?

A: Addicted will join Cocoyea’s t-shirt section on Carnival Sunday for an additional day of fun on the road. This is included as part of your Carnival Package.

Q: Who provides the music on the road?

A: Music will be provided by the Specialist Entertainment “Socalicious” and Cocoyea resident DJs.

Q: Can my husband/wife/ friend jump in the band?

A: Addicted only allows paying masqueraders to jump in the band. Non-masqueraders may observe from the sidelines outside the band, however, they will not be allowed to participate.

Q: How do I join the SPECIALIST ENTERTAINMENT mailing list?

Q: I have not been receiving emails from SPECIALIST ENTERTAINMENT … what can I do?

Q: What events do SPECIALIST ENTERTAINMENT host annually?

A: SPECIALIST ENTERTAINMENT’s annual events include our ADDICTED Section Launch, Socalicious (Carnival Thursday’s big fete), Soca Nation and our annual “Thank You” party. Join our mailing list to recieve regular updates on our events.

Q: When is Notting Hill Carnival and at what time does the band head on the road?

A: Notting Hill Carnival is on Sunday 25 August 2019 and Monday 26 August 2020. Addicted Mas Section will be on the road with Cocoyea Mas Band and our starting point is near Latimer Road Station. The band heads off around 10am in t-shirt on Sunday and around 9am in full costume on Monday, following breakfast.
